I love it when we get to design something to combine all the things our brides like to make up a wedding invitation that’s 100% custom. Tanya had sent me images of foiled invitations, laser cut pocket invitations and printed vellum invitations. She also had a photo from their engagement shoot which she wanted to incorporate. We managed to design for her a laser cut pocket wedding invitation in Dusty pink with Burgundy floral accents. A pocket contains any guest information, while the central content areas is printed and foiled on to vellum and added as a flap over the engagement shoot picture.
Acrylic Invitations are absolutely stunning to look at. We can print, etch or paint them according to your requirements. Keep in mind the processes involved with producing perspex invitations are considerable – not only do you need to consider how we create the invitation itself, but how you envisage the wedding invitation being presented. Options include lined envelopes, custom made folders and boxes, or in this case a simple blush pink floral printed vellum wrap with a personalised bellyband to close. We will style the acrylic invitation according to your colour scheme.
Printed vellum is a lovely way to incorporate floral elements of your wedding invitation. In this example we have printed and cutout a printed floral vellum outer, in to which the invitation and inserts sits. The invitation is finished with a bellyband of satin ribbon with options of including a wax seal.
The versatility of vellum is undeniable as it compliments any colour scheme or theme. We can expect to see plenty of vellum and wax seals this year, this invitation being no exception. The invitation is printed on a shimmer cream, flat mounted to navy and placed, together with guest information cards in a vellum wrap. The invitation is finished with a navy ribbon and gold wax seal bearing the bride and groom’s initials.
Certainly one of my favourite invitations in 2018, this pretty floral invitation with custom gold foiled elements is mounted to a metallic blush pink board, and placed with a vellum wrap and bellyband in a lined envelope.
